About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients to ensure optimal service levels and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client Relationship Management: Manage and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to ensure optimal service levels and customer satisfaction.
* Needs Analysis: Understand client's current and future needs, propose appropriate solutions, products, and services to meet their requirements.
* Business Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, referrals, and staying informed about competitor strategies.
* Negotiation and Collaboration: Negotiate prices and collaborate with support staff to ensure customer retention and continued business.
* Presentation and Sales: Conduct presentations, coordinate sales proposals, tenders, bids, contracts, and account management plans to drive business growth.
* Sales Promotion: Participate in sales promotions, campaigns, and events to increase revenue and promote the company as a quality supplier.
Requirements:
* B2B Experience: B2B sales or account management experience, or experience in the express freight or logistics industry.
* Sales Growth: Demonstrated ability to achieve sales growth through superior negotiating skills.
* Relationship Building: Extensive relationship-building skills developed from working in various busy service industries.
* Product Knowledge: Ability to quickly learn product and service knowledge to effectively translate customer needs into solutions.
* Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to use database management systems.
* Time Management: Excellent time management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
