Job Title: Commercial Finance Partner
The role of Commercial Finance Partner is a dynamic, customer-centric position that requires a finance professional with strong commercial thinking and relationship-building skills.
* Support and partner with the Beer Merchandise team to drive business performance goals.
* Act as an experienced storyteller and influencer, partnering closely with the Merchandise Team on all commercial decision-making.
* Deliver data-led insights through clear and timely storyboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and manage weekly and monthly performance reporting insights, clearly communicating key performance drivers.
* Provide detailed analysis and recommendations on category pricing, ranging, promotional activities and supplier contracts.
* Proactively communicate commercial impacts of past and future activities among stakeholders.
* Develop initiatives to improve visibility and accountability of category sales and profit performance.
* Support strategic and project analysis to drive improved returns on capital investments and business initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications:
* Clear and effective communication across multiple stakeholder groups.
* At least 8 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting (post-graduate roles).
* CA/CPA qualification is required.
* Advanced experience using financial systems in a commercial environment.
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to navigate a complex organisational structure and work effectively cross-functionally.
* Strong presentation and story-boarding skills.
* Advanced time-management and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to communicate complex financial information simplistically.
