**Lead Educator Role Description**
We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team as a Lead Educator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you can make a positive impact on children's lives.
Job Summary
The Lead Educator will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and play-based learning environment for children and their families. You will work closely with your team to develop and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of our community.
* Hold or be willing to commence studying a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. A strong understanding of child development principles and practices is essential.
* A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card is required, along with First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
* A Police Check current within three months or willingness to obtain one is necessary for this role.
Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Educator, your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and implementing educational programs that align with our center's philosophy and values.
* Providing high-quality care and education to children, promoting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
* Collaborating with colleagues to plan and deliver activities that engage children and promote their learning.
* Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and communicating with parents and caregivers about their child's development.
