About The Role
As a Freight Officer, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient handling and receipt of freight, with responsibilities that include loading, unloading, and securing general freight of all sizes.

Key Responsibilities / Licences
* Operating various sized counterbalance forklifts (2.5T, 7T and 16T)
* Processing various types of general freight from beginning to end (palletised, ugly and oversize)
* Secure and restrain all loads as per the load restraint guide, with ratchet straps, chains and binders
* Ensuring all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in the received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions
* Preparation of outgoing freight ensuring that goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch
* RF Scanner Experience
Skills And Experience
* Current Forklift Licence (LF) and experience
* Experience with general ugly/oversize freight
* Previous Yard Hand or Warehouse Experience
* Experience with load restraint using ratchet straps, or chains or binder
* Experience with RF Scanners highly desirable
* Mackay and Gladstone depot; if you don't have all of the above, apply with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
