SydneyWealth ManagementContract or TemporaryOur client is a leading global investment bank focusing on providing individuals and institutions with strategic advice and effective implementation guidance. They are seeking candidates with 1–3 years of administration experience in a corporate or, ideally, another financial services institution.A key function of this role is providing operational support to the Sydney wealth management department through administrative, operational, and compliance functions within a high-volume and time-critical environment.Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to NSW State Manager & Administration Manager.Support administration of the entire office.Support the organization of events, including client seminars, research presentations, and company meetings, handling room bookings, RSVPs, catering, multimedia, etc.Coordinate interstate visitors.Manage the branch inbox and respond to queries from various teams.Assist with travel bookings and support other staff as required.Compile and reconcile expense claims for management and staff.Maintain the leave register for all staff and perform monthly reconciliations with the Workday system.Process invoice requests from front office staff, liaising with Finance teams.Maintain organizational charts, phone lists, and floor plans.Update internal systems as required.Manage document storage, filing, and archiving of client and management documents.Assist with processing new hires and leavers for the Sydney office.Support the administration of the Advisor leaver process, including code setup.Qualifications/Experience Desired:1–3 years’ administration experience in a corporate or financial services setting.Tertiary degrees, especially in commerce-related fields, are highly preferred.Prior exposure to financial services is advantageous; recent graduates will also be considered.Knowledge of switchboard operations and telephone systems.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Strong organizational skills and file management.Proficient IT, database, and analytical skills.Interest or knowledge in financial markets and wealth management is highly desirable.Understanding of compliance and legal requirements.Administrative experience preferred; experience in a broking environment is highly desirable.Personal Attributes and Interpersonal Skills:Flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.Clear and professional communication skills, both written and oral.Proactive, punctual, and reliable.Professional appearance and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Self-motivated with good initiative, capable of prioritizing and multitasking.This is an excellent junior-level opportunity for recent graduates or junior candidates interested in Wealth Management or Stockbroking, with potential to evolve into more technical roles within the team.
