**About The Client**:
Sharp and Carter are proud to be partnering with a global leader to source an IT operations Analyst. The company is a leader in oilfield technology solutions, chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, and automation technologies for the oil and gas industry. This will be an initial temporary assignment with the full intention of becoming a permanent role after a short trial period.
**Role Overview**:
First point of contact for Office and Plant users on IT issues and requirements. On-site support of customers in relation to Devices, Peripherals, Printers, Telecommunications, network connectivity and infrastructure availability. Ensure all depot activities follow controlled process and align with global standards. IT Depots and Fixed IT Assets: ensure the Asset Databases are maintained. On-site support where available of Network and Infrastructure teams. Management of Relationships within IT and the local Users & Business.
- Responsible for all direct incoming requests are logged within the ServiceNow tool
- Ensure all incidents, tasks and requests are appropriately assigned, progressed, updated, and resolved within agreed timeframes, including those allocated to other IT team members
- Record and report on metrics and KPI's in accordance within the global standards
- Support several programs from an Operation Platform perspective including:
- Incident involvement / point person for high and critical IT Infrastructure incidents affecting ANZ Market (PC Client, Network, Server etc.)
- Face off to global technical teams such as server and network to assist them with service delivery in region
- Co-ordination of local hands and eyes services on sites where physical assistance required. Facilitate communications to business for IT operational changes (system downtime planning). Explain business impact to remote teams.
- Regional requirements explanation for central teams. Explain region specific needs and restrictions and participate in and support key regional projects.
- New sites; expansions; closures; ERP enabling technology and other system launches. Management of selected local projects.
- Bring local knowledge and practical IT Operations viewpoint to all projects
- Support Global IT Infrastructure and Operations initiatives.
- Consultant for regional/local considerations at planning stage ex. SDWAN; Cloud
- Point of contact for testing, roll-out planning and communications.
- Work in close partnership with the regional Business to ensure IT Service delivery, Projects are executed effectively to support business operations. Bring tactical planning and knowledge of the region to bear in support of IT strategy.
- Infrastructure support, Office 365/On-premises Exchange servers, Management of objects & permissions on messaging items (Shared mailboxes, Conference resources, Distribution List and Dynamic Distribution List). Proofpoint support and other platforms including Collaboration & Web platforms; Skype for Business; SharePoint, Teams; Lotus Notes; Form site.
- Microsoft Stack (MS.NET and Azure Cloud Programs); Active Directory AD support
