The Spiritual Care Practitioner provides assessment, counselling, support and ritual in matters of a person's beliefs, traditions, values and practices enabling the person to access their own spiritual resources. They are available for any patient, family member, carer or staff member regardless of their expression of spirituality. Applicants for the casual roles can also be in the process of gaining certification with Spiritual Care Australia, as long as they can prove to Bendigo Health that they are eligible for certification and have an application with SCA in progress.
