This chance is open to junior entry level applicants who demonstrate a willingness to learn, commitment, good communication and a passion for learning about the trade. The role will require a certain level of mathematical skills and an eye for detail, plus a level of fitness as you will be working with heavy materials and at heights.
You will need your own transport and if you have a white card or have completed a pre-app or certificate in construction it will be
highly advantageous.
Unfortunately this role can only be offered full time currently, as we have had a high number of SBATS.
The Apprenticeship will include the following training:
Reviewing drawings and choosing timbers and other materials for layouts.
Cutting and assembling materials together.
Fitting exterior wall cladding and window frames.
Assembling wood structures together and installing wood joints.
Repairing existing fittings.
Operating hand and power tools
