About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team here at Campaspe Shire Council. The Manager ICT will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of Council’s Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Program to deliver business efficiency and continuity, with a focus on supporting business users and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall performance of the ICT team within the constraints of budget and Council plan and with a strategic focus and capability.
- Provide positive and constructive leadership that focuses on collaborative engagement, mentoring and coaching to build the capacity of leaders, ensuring effective succession and long-term staff planning.
- Manage and ensure business continuity, ICT risk mitigation and cyber security, including regularly updating and testing the ICT business continuity plan and the Cyber response plan.

Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification with extensive experience in information technology, business, or related field.
- Experience in establishing systems, procedures, and improvement processes.
- Demonstrated high-level communication skills including report and letter writing skills.
- Valid Driver’s Licence, National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
