We're on a journey of growth and transformation, evolving from a small family business into a leading wholesaler and manufacturer. Our Richmond production facility plays a key role in this transition, and we're looking for a Production Scheduling Coordinator to help us drive operational excellence.

Your Role

Reporting to the Production Site Manager, you'll be responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products.

Production Scheduling & Coordination (Efficiency Focus)

* Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
* Prioritise production orders to maximise throughput and minimise downtime
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Warehouse, Procurement, Sales, Solutions Design) to align production activities
* Monitor real-time production progress and adjust schedules as needed

Data Accuracy & Inventory Management (Accuracy Focus)

* Maintain accurate data in the ERP system (BOMs, routings, inventory records)
* Analyse inventory levels to prevent shortages and excesses
* Generate accurate work orders and documentation (drawings, specifications)
* Support cycle count programs and investigate discrepancies

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

* Generate and analyse reports on key production metrics
* Present findings and recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy
* Stay informed on industry best practices and suggest innovative solutions

What You'll Bring

* Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or coordination in a manufacturing environment
* Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MYOB)
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication skills across diverse teams
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven
* A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
