About The Role
Our service team in Emerald is strengthening its capabilities and seeking experienced, skilled, and dedicated Belt Splicers or Conveyor Technicians Mechanical or boilermakers join us. This position will form part of our core service at the Curragh Mine, working on a regular roster you will be a part of our results-focused, family-oriented, and committed team
Fenner provides splicing strong career pathway, encompassing trade recognition (in Queensland & Western Australia) and a nationally accredited qualification in Certificate III in Polymer Processing.

What you'll be doing
With Curragh being one of our major clients for the Emerald Branch, as part of the core crew you'll play a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining steel cord, ply, solid woven and fabric conveyor belts while ensuring safety and quality are always top priorities. You'll also diagnose faults and determine the best repair methods to keep our operations running smoothly.
What We're Looking For
Experience in Belt Splicing – a must have
Passion and love for working in the Conveyor Industry
Working rights in Australia – we accept working holiday visas too
A valid Australian Drivers licence
QLD Coal Board Medical or ability to successfully obtain (Company funded)
Certificate III or II in Polymer Processing. Whilst not essential, those with extensive experience are encouraged to apply, as we can formalise your knowledge as a registered RTO
