Practice Manager
Overview
The Practice Manager is responsible for the overall management of our specialist Orthopaedic Practice. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice, supporting our Surgeon and working with our dynamic team.
1. Motivate and train the team to continually improve efficiencies and workings of the practice
2. Full practice reporting, including end-of-day, week and month reporting directly to the principal
3. Excellent understanding and previous experience in Theatre Bookings, Surgical Quoting, Genie Medical Software (or similar) including known Gaps, no Gaps and AMA fees
4. Ensure the practice is always fully compliant with industry and government regulations, including OH&S. Attend and actively participate in all relevant practice meetings
5. IT savvy skills, able to troubleshoot as required - Apple Mac
6. Bad debt management
7. Previous experience in an Orthopaedic practice is viewed highly, including experience with booking theatre equipment and prosthesis via representatives
8. Being experienced in working with various health funds and Medicare (Eclipse viewed highly)
Requirements
* Minimum of two (2) years of Practice Manager experience - Orthopaedic Practice Manager experience viewed favourably
* Private Specialist experience is mandatory
