Will also be involved with upcoming tenders/bids for the Transport DivisionKey ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and delivery of the P&C strategy aligned to the portfolioCoaching and development of Transport staffSupport the change processes by building a shared enthusiasm and purpose for change and supporting individuals in the business to manage changeProvide timely and accurate P&C/ER/IR advice to supervisors and managersGive advice to functional managers and employees on a range of HR issues including remuneration, and retention initiatives and succession planningSupport the implementation of people management programs for the business sector e.g. Workforce Planning, Performance Review, Remuneration Planning, Succession Planning and Talent Profiling etcManage a team of recruitment professionals to resource all contracts across the line of businessWork with operational leaders to develop recruitment strategies for bids and execution of worksSupport managers on all IR matters including; EA negotiation including bargaining parameters, leading good faith bargaining, EA interpretation, union matters and disputesProvide advice, advocacy and specialist expertise regarding a broad range of IR and ER issuesActively participate in the broader P&C Manager cohort across the UGL businessUndertake projects, initiatives, tasks as directed by the GM P&C, Operations or other Corporate P&C representativesQualificationsTertiary qualifications in HR (preferred), Law, Psychology10+ years’ experience in a previous HR Business Partnering or Management positionExperience leading a team of human resource professionalsPrevious experience in a similar industry (desirable)Experience in working within a dispersed, remote team (travel required)Understanding of workplace relations legislation (e.g. EEO and diversity)About UGL: UGL, a member of the CIMIC Group, is known for providing end-to-end services in sectors like rail, transport, technology, renewables, and defense.
