About APC

The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) is an independent not-for-profit company, responsible for accreditation of pharmacy education and training, under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme (NRAS).

With 40 years of history and experience, we set and maintain the standards of pharmacy education to ensure that pharmacists who practise in Australia deliver safe and effective health care. This includes assessing overseas trained pharmacists, accrediting university programs and delivering exams to people wanting to become registered pharmacists in Australia.

We are based in the Canberra Airport Business Park complex, in a modern and well-appointed office complex, with cafes, shopping and easy access. We provide full FBT benefits as a PBI entity, welfare allowance and free onsite car parking. We also offer flexible working arrangements, including a 60/40 hybrid work model that balances office and work from home opportunities once fully trained.

We pride ourselves as an equal opportunity employer that embraces and values diversity and inclusion. We strongly encourage people of all abilities, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds to apply, particularly people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage, and those who may experience diversity or disability related barriers in securing employment. If you have any support or access requirements, we encourage you to advise us at time of application.

Salary Package + Benefits

An attractive package will be negotiated for this role and includes salary of $110,000 (negotiable) plus superannuation + carpark + salary packaging (PBI) and wellbeing allowance. Additionally, the APC offers 15 days personal leave, four weeks annual leave plus end of year office closure, generous parental leave provisions along with flexible working arrangements, including hybrid work from home opportunities.

Ideally one of the positions would be Canberra office based while one could be remote for the right candidate. Full time and part time will be considered depending on experience.
