Science Lecturer / Senior Lecturer
Avondale University has an opportunity for someone to join the School of Education and Science as an academic staff member for an initial 2‑year, part‑time (up to 0.8 FTE) contract, located at the Lake Macquarie campus. The role would commence ready for semester 1, 2026.
As a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, you may be involved in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the School of Education and Science, as well as undertaking research or research supervision in line with your qualifications and expertise.

Essential Criteria
* Relevant Master's degree as a minimum.
* Demonstrated ability to teach and engage with students in the learning and teaching arena.
* Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as a team member.

Desirable Criteria
* Relevant doctoral degree.
* Relevant experience in tertiary education.
* Research experience and a history of publications.

Salary
* Level A (Associate Lecturer): $43.55 – $55.90 p.h plus superannuation.
* Level B (Lecturer): $58.09 – $68.38 p.h plus superannuation.
* Level C (Senior Lecturer): $73.26 – $78.90 p.h plus superannuation.
