About the work unit / facility The Support Services Department provides the essential operational services (environmental cleaning, patient services, waste, and linen) in support to clinical service delivery across the Townsville University Hospital campus, the Kirwan Health campus and four Townsville Community Health sites. (OO4) * 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading * 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation * Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available About your opportunity The Area Coordinator, Support Services Department, is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the environmental cleaning and patient support services at the Townsville University Hospital working a 24/7 roster. Requirements: * Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (BSB 42015 or equivalent) completed or enrolled with a commitment to complete. * The possession of a licence to operate a class 'C' motor vehicle is required. * This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis. * Probation period may apply. * Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
