Leading Cloud Infrastructure Team
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to lead our cloud infrastructure team.
* Maintain systems to a high standard to ensure reliability, performance and security.
* Collaborate with the team to meet incident and service request SLAs collectively.
* Implement and maintain cyber security protocols, ensuring that all systems are protected from potential threats.
* Ensure system availability, minimising downtime, and disruptions.
* Develop and maintain design and operational support documentation for systems.
* Provide effective leadership to the team, while working autonomously and driving completion of team tasks and projects.
About This Role
This is a senior role requiring a minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior IT Infrastructure or cloud engineering role.
* A strong understanding of cloud and hosting technologies, with a focus on reliability, performance, and security.
* The ability to lead and mentor technical teams, ideally in a distributed or multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining systems to a high standard, collaborating with the team, implementing and maintaining cyber security protocols, ensuring system availability, developing and maintaining design and operational support documentation, providing effective leadership to the team, and working autonomously to drive completion of team tasks and projects.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
* Veeam Backup & Replication
* Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud services
* Enterprise x86 server hardware (Cisco UCS experience advantageous)
* Windows Server operating systems and core Windows technologies (e.g., Group Policy, Active Directory)
* Hyperconverged platforms (Nutanix experience advantageous)
* Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft and Nutanix are highly regarded
