Bar Attendant Position
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and performing various other tasks as required.
Responsibilities
* Customer Service – Greeting customers and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner
* Taking and confirming orders from customers, then relaying them to kitchen staff
* Serving food and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
* Answering phones and processing takeaway orders
* Processing payments accurately and efficiently
* Assisting with food preparation and presentation
* Stocktaking and ordering of supplies
* Rostering and training new staff members
* Cleaning and maintaining the bar area to high standards
Required Qualifications and Attributes
* Minimum 2 years experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the hospitality industry
* Current RSA certification and willingness to acquire approved manager's certificate
* Excellent personal hygiene and attention to detail
* Proactive and can-do attitude, with availability to work nights and weekends
* Honesty, trustworthiness, and reliability
* Ability to perform tasks proficiently in a fast-paced environment
Benefits

Wages are paid weekly. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
