We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice to join our team, specialising in waterproofing, tiling, flooring, and general renovations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn a wide range of trade skills, and grow within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist tradespeople with waterproofing, tiling, flooring, and renovation projects.
* Recieve your trade certification with our in-job training program (through rpl conditions apply)
* Prepare and clean work areas, tools, and materials
* Mix and apply adhesives, grout, and waterproofing products
* Cut and lay tiles, flooring, and other materials under supervision
* Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace
* Support with general carpentry, demolition, and renovation tasks as required
* Learn and develop technical skills to progress within the trade
* Adhere to all building codes and regulations
* Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations and site protocols
* Customer relations.
Requirements:
* Genuine interest in building and renovation work
* Car with a valid drivers license, unless you can commute to wheelers hill every morning.
* Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Ability to think on your own
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Ability to work safely
* Valid First aid certificate(if you don't have it we can organise it for you)
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
* White Card (or willingness to obtain)
* (Prior experiences not Necessary)
