* Total Remuneration $99,443 to $111,863 pa (including salary of $84,031 to $94,526 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

An exciting opportunity is available to support the day-to-day operations of the Student Residences, playing a key role in delivering a positive and engaging experience for students and guests.

Reporting to the Residential Life Coordinator, you will support students' wellbeing and safety while helping to deliver a welcoming, inclusive on‐campus experience. You'll provide pastoral care, guide students through challenges, and act as a trusted liaison with teams across the University, including Counselling and Wellbeing, Safer Communities and Governance.

You'll contribute to residential operations through strong administrative support, financial processing, event planning, and coordination of residential life programs. The position also supports the recruitment, training and supervision of Residential Leaders, assists with emergency and crisis responses, and manages conflict and behavioural matters in line with University policy.

This position suits someone who can remain calm under pressure, is highly organised and committed to fostering a respectful, connected student community.

Position Requirements

* Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and a current Queensland manual driver licence.
* Demonstrated ability to quickly and accurately assess complex situations to inform responses, while showing empathy and consideration.
* Proven experience dealing with, or the ability to quickly acquire capability in managing serious or emergency situations, complaints and conduct matters.
* High-level communication, consultation and negotiation skills, including the ability to liaise professionally and provide exceptional customer service.
* A relevant degree without subsequent relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
