Research Officer
This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity until 31 Dec 2025 with the possibility of extension. The Research Officer will provide expert research and administrative support to a range of women's health projects led by researchers within the School of Nursing at Curtin University in Perth. The successful candidate will work in small teams to coordinate various research activities and liaise with project team members and stakeholders to ensure effective management and delivery of research project objectives.
The key responsibilities include coordinating project activities, facilitating the development and maintenance of project management plans and documentation, providing project management and administration support, collecting and processing research data, and contributing to the analysis and interpretation of findings under the guidance of a Research Fellow. Additionally, the Research Officer will provide executive support to project committees and meetings, help identify and resolve operational issues and project risks, and uphold high professional standards and modelling organisational and lab values.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree with substantial relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. They will also possess strong research and analytical skills, including problem-solving skills, discipline-specific knowledge, and the ability to collect, analyse and interpret statistical data effectively. The candidate should have exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven track record of effectively liaising with a diverse range of individuals and stakeholders. They should also be able to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrate respect for diversity, and contribute effectively towards achieving group objectives.
