About the role
This is a full-time Spare Parts Interpreter - Automotive role with Lanhams Motor Group based in Griffith, NSW. As a Spare Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing expert product knowledge and exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. In this vital role, you will be supporting the smooth operation of the parts department and contributing to the overall success of the business.
What you'll be doing
* Interacting with customers, both in-person and on the phone, to understand their requirements and provide recommendations on the appropriate parts and accessories
* Locating, ordering, and efficiently processing parts and accessories requests
* Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock levels are optimised
* Providing training and guidance to less experienced parts team members
* Collaborating with the broader team to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced customer experience
* Adhering to all relevant safety and compliance requirements
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Spare Parts Interpreter or in a similar automotive parts role
* Excellent product knowledge and the ability to quickly identify and locate the required parts
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a high level of support to both internal and external customers
* Proficiency in using parts identification and ordering systems
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
* A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development
