We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AOD Assessment Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing AOD specific screening, assessment, initial treatment planning, and referral for clients accessing both internal and external AOD services. Key Responsibilities
* AOD Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
* Treatment Planning: Work closely with clients to create comprehensive treatment plans that address their unique requirements.
* Referral and Support: Provide referrals to relevant services and support clients throughout their treatment journey.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience working within the AOD sector, preferably with a focus on harm reduction principles and practices.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and consumers.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
