This is a leadership opportunity for someone to manage their own caseload, mentor junior lawyers, and make a significant impact on our clients' lives. About the RoleThis role is perfect for a Senior Associate with a minimum of 5 years of post-admission experience. You will be responsible for a varied caseload, including complex Part IV family provision claims and other contested estate matters. You will guide clients through challenging times, from the initial consultation to the final resolution, while providing strategic, clear, and people-focused legal advice.Key responsibilities include:Independently managing your own files from start to finish.Drafting, negotiating, and representing clients in mediations and court.Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and trainees.Ensuring meticulous record-keeping and upholding all professional standards.Contributing to the firm's growth through networking and business development. About You The ideal candidate will have:A minimum of 5 years of post-admission experience in Wills & Estates and Family Law.Proven experience in Part IV claims and contested estate matters.Strong advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.The ability to manage a busy caseload independently.A current Victorian practising certificate.A client-focused approach with outstanding communication skills.
