Role Summary
Worley is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Construction Supervisor to join a site‐based Integrated Project Team supporting major earthworks and haul road pavement construction for a key client.
The role is based approximately 120 km west of Newman in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
This position provides hands‐on geotechnical support during construction, focusing on delivering works in accordance with approved designs, specifications and quality requirements while responding to variable ground conditions and borrow materials encountered on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide geotechnical construction support and supervision across earthworks and haul road pavement activities
* Undertake regular site inspections and verify ground conditions against design assumptions
* Monitor borrow pit development and mass haul activities
* Assess material suitability and performance during construction
* Review compaction, density and laboratory testing results
* Support quality assurance and quality control processes
* Document geotechnical observations through daily site reports
* Identify and elevate unexpected ground conditions and construction risks
* Provide timely and practical technical advice to Superintendents, Project Engineers and contractors
* Collaborate with office‐based geotechnical specialists and the broader Integrated Project Team to resolve technical queries and non‐conformances

* Experience in geotechnical construction support or supervision

* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work effectively in a site‐based, rostered environment
