Job Description:
This role focuses on leading a portfolio of quarries to deliver products on time and to quality standards while ensuring skilled resources, plant, and equipment are available.
* A strong safety focus with absolute commitment to Zero Harm is crucial to the success of our business.
* Drive a Zero Harm culture across QLD region to ensure Boral Quarry Operations meet all safety, environmental, and legislative requirements.
* Work closely with Quarry Management teams to deliver major revenue projects including procuring mobile plant and contract crushing resources.
* Engage and work with QM's to develop talent plans and growth pathways for internal staff.
* Support Quarry operations in delivering capital projects and upgrades.
1. Lead a team to manage and maintain effective quarry operations.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency within the quarry operations.
3. Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
4. Coordinate training activity and Trainer/Assessor resources.
* Results-oriented manager with 10+ years' experience in quarrying or project management, ideally in mining or construction materials.
* Proven track record of managing large projects and cross-functional teams.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
