About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and passionate culinary leader to formulate dishes, oversee kitchen teams, and drive excellence in product delivery.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior chefs to develop menus, manage inventory levels, and implement procedures for presentation, sanitation, service, and product quality.
* Direct and support kitchen team members to ensure excellence and consistency in product delivery to customers
* Oversee kitchen team performance, upholding high standards of uniformity and quality
* Create menus and their corresponding cost analysis
* Manage inventory levels and oversee back-of-house food and labor expenses
* Implement procedures for elevated presentation, sanitation, service, and product caliber
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food standards
* Recruit, train, and roster kitchen team members
* Curate recipes tailored to dietary preferences, restrictions, and sensitivities
Key Requirements
* Hold relevant Certificate III Cookery qualifications
* Extensive experience working as a Sous Chef or Senior Culinary Leader
* Exceptional leadership skills and ability to lead diverse teams
* Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
