We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
* Base salary range: $103.80-$131.61 p.h. (L18-L27)

About your opportunity
* Provide professional leadership in respect of the Retrieval activities and in particular your duty team of nurse / flight nurse. Lead the team and provide ongoing support to nursing and medical staff as indicated.
* Delivery of patient care within Critical Care Paediatric retrievals including management of complex clinical situations.
* Communicate effectively with referring team and retrieval nursing staff to support safe extraction from the base hospital and provide “SITREP” to medical coordinator and receiving team / hospital.
Requirements:
* Fellowship (or imminently expected) with the College of Intensive Care Medicine (FCICM) or equivalent international specialist qualification.
* Other qualifications from colleges that confer Specialist registration, (for example FANZCA, FACEM, FRACP), may be considered, provided the candidate is able to demonstrate sufficient experience at an advanced level of training in Paediatric Intensive Care, and is able to act independently in a Specialist capacity.
