About the Role
Pure Private Wealth is looking for a highly skilled and dependable Paraplanner & Financial Planning Associate (FPA) to join our expanding team. This dual-role opportunity requires a professional who is confident in managing complex tasks, taking ownership of high-level responsibilities, and contributing directly to the growth and success of our firm.
The successful candidate will be expected to operate across both technical advice preparation and the full implementation of client strategies. You must have a demonstrated history of independently managing and delivering on critical tasks, and a strong understanding of the financial advice landscape in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Paraplanning and Technical Strategy
* Prepare compliant and accurate Statements of Advice (SoAs) and Records of Advice (RoAs).
* Conduct financial modelling, strategy development, and technical product research.
* Ensure alignment between client objectives and advice recommendations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, investment structures, insurance products, and superannuation legislation.
Implementation and Client Management
* Manage and execute all aspects of pre-boarding, onboarding, and implementation, including:
* Super rollovers, investment transactions, account setup, insurance applications, platform navigation, policy servicing, and contributions processing.
* Handle direct communication with clients and product providers to ensure all advice actions are completed promptly and accurately.
* Work with internal teams to track progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain operational excellence.
Systems & Oversight
* Operate confidently within XPLAN for advice documentation and CRM management.
* Use GoHighLevel (GHL) to support client workflows, communication, and process automation.
* Continuously refine processes to enhance client outcomes and team efficiency.
* Provide leadership over team members involved in onboarding and implementation where required.
Required Experience & Attributes
* Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in paraplanning and financial advice implementation roles.
* RG146 compliant. Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning is highly regarded.
* Strong working knowledge of XPLAN is essential. Familiarity with GoHighLevel (GHL) is highly preferred.
* Deep understanding of financial products, strategies, compliance, and implementation workflows.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
* Self-starter with a proactive mindset and demonstrated ability to work independently with full accountability.
* Track record of taking ownership of complex operational tasks and delivering them to a high standard.
