Permanent Part Time - 22.8 Hours Per week.

Salary: As per Early Childhood Education Employee's Agreement $61.72 per hour plus 12% superannuation

Location: Various preschools across Latrobe City

The Role

Our Preschool Field Officer plays a crucial role in supporting our preschool teams to facilitate the engagement of children with additional needs into Latrobe Preschools, as well as building the capacity of Early Childhood Educators to provide an inclusive preschool experience for all children across the Latrobe City.

About You

You will have a demonstrated understanding and ability to apply the practice principles and child outcomes of the VEYLDF in their PSFO role along with expertise and knowledge of specialist referral networks that bridge the gap between kindergarten and specialist services.

You'll also need:

* Degree Qualified Early Childhood Educator
* Experience and/or a qualification in Special Education or Disability Services is desirable
* A comprehensive understanding of typical and atypical early childhood development, as well as the potential impact of additional needs on a child's learning, well‐being and development.
* A demonstrated understanding of how to facilitate change and experience with capacity building strategies including collaboration, consultation and coaching.
* Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative partnerships with other professionals, build and manage a diverse range of networks and form positive working relationships with early childhood professionals.
* The ability to self‐manage a demanding schedule, prioritise time critical matters and provide an efficient service that meets the needs of all stakeholders.
* A current Victorian Drivers Licence

Successful applicants will be required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check.
