About the opportunity
At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Cleaner, you'll create cherished moments each day.
* You will play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our facility, ensuring the well-being and comfort of elderly residents. General responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
* You will also ensure the Aged Care home is cleaned and maintained in accordance with prescribed routines and infection control guidelines.
What you'll bring
You're reliable, compassionate, respectful and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional care to the residents and making a difference in your community.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles
* Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
* A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents
* Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential)
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
* NDIS clearance OR NDIS application and recent police check
