Your new role
As a Dynamics 365 Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Power BI, DevOps practices, Dynamics 365, and Portal. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Power BI Development:
* Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
* Integrate Power BI with various data sources and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
* Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and usability.
* DevOps Practices:
* Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
* Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
* Monitor and maintain the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
* Dynamics 365 Development:
* Customize and extend Dynamics 365 applications to meet business requirements.
* Develop and maintain plugins, workflows, and custom entities within Dynamics 365.
* Integrate Dynamics 365 with other systems and applications.
* Portal Development:
* Design and develop web portals using Dynamics 365 Portals.
* Ensure portals are user-friendly, responsive, and meet accessibility standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to portal functionality and performance.
* Workflow Knowledge:
* Design and implement workflows to automate business processes.
* Ensure workflows are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
* Troubleshoot and optimize existing workflows for better performance.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
* Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 customization and development.
* Experience with Dynamics 365 Portals or Power Apps Portals, including development using Liquid templates.
* Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git).
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and SQL.
* Soft Skills:
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
