Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking Shutdown Trades Assistants for an upcoming shutdown project in Railton, Tasmania. This is a great opportunity to secure solid hours on a 6-week shutdown.
Project Details
Location: Railton, TASStart Date: End of May 2026Duration: Approximately 6 weeksRoster: 12-hour shifts (day/night shifts may apply)
Key Responsibilities
Assisting tradespeople with shutdown maintenance tasksGeneral labouring duties and site clean-upUse of basic hand and power toolsSupporting mechanical and maintenance teams as requiredFollowing all site safety procedures and requirements
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Trades Assistant or in an industrial/shutdown environment preferredCurrent White Card (essential)Confined Space Ticket (essential)Ability to work 12-hour shifts for the duration of the shutdownMust be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testingMust have own accommodation in or near RailtonReliable transport
