We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Tank Technologies in Townsville, QLD.
This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in the fuel industry.
What you'll be doing
Install, maintain and repair a wide range of mechanical equipment and systems
Carry out preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance
Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and specifications
Perform precision measurements and alignments using specialised tools
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard
Adhere to all safety regulations and work practices
What we're looking for
Qualified Fitter with 3+ years' experience in a similar role
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and specialised equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
Excellent attention to detail and quality focus
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to travel
