About the role:
- Based in Pyrmont, this is a hybrid role, with approximately 30% of your efforts going into the oversight of claims/RTW, providing advice to line managers and reports to senior management. To support you in this space is a third party consultancy firm that liaises strongly with the various insurers, doctors etc.
- Your main focus is to continue the journey to mitigate risks throughout the business. Your key risks include use of ladders, manual handling, mobile equipment and a level of occupational violence.
- As well as the retail outlets there are 2 distribution centers and a head office.
About you:
- The client would welcome a "modern thinker" who is perhaps technically savvy to create systems, processes, perhaps SOP's and the like, rolling out suitable training and induction packages for use by the business.
- You might possess for example, a Cert 4 in WHS and/or have the certificate of RTW Corordination NSW. You may have exposure to both of these disciplines in a work setting.
- You will bring good energy and drive to the role, which is fairly autonomous, but remaining firmly within a team with supports.
