We meet clients wherever they are at.Staying Deadly|headspace Deception Bay provides a safe and supportive place for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, their friends, and their family.Staying Deadly|headspace Deception Bay is part of the IUIH network and aims to promote and facilitate improvements in the mental health, social wellbeing and economic participation of young people aged 12-25 residing in the Moreon Bay region. In this young person friendly space, services are delivered across four core streams – physical and sexual health, mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), and educational and vocational services.Senior Care Coordinators at the Staying Deadly | headspace walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients to provide holistic and practical psychosocial supports. The role provides localised cultural support and guidance to Staying Deadly Care Coordinators and other staff members within the service. They participate in Continuous Quality Improvements (CQI), assisting with reporting requirements, liaising with key external stakeholders and supporting the Manager as required.
