Mogo Aboriginal Preschool is more than a place of learning, it's a place of connection, culture, and community. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Mogo, working with a mix of Indigenous and non‐Indigenous children aged 3–6 years.
This is not just a teaching role. It's an opportunity to lead educational practice, mentor educators, and partner with families to strengthen culturally grounded learning both in the preschool and at home through the Aboriginal Families as Teachers (AFaT) programme.
Position Details
* Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
* Employment Type: Permanent Part‐time (4 days per week Tuesday to Friday)
* Focus: Educational leadership, curriculum development & family mentoring
Note: Some outreach work in Batemans Bay, Moruya and surrounds as part of the AFaT program. Some work during the school holidays may be required.

About the Role
* Lead the development and implementation of a high‐quality program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
* Mentor and support educators to embed reflective, inclusive and culturally appropriate practices
* Guide documentation, planning and curriculum to support each child's development
* Build strong, respectful relationships with families, recognising them as the child's first teacher
* Support families through the AFaT programme to create engaging home learning environments
* Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement
Who We're Looking For
* Holds an ACECQA approved bachelor's degree or equivalent. See www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved
* Demonstrates strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
* Is confident in supporting curriculum development and mentoring educators
* Is passionate about cultural connection and community engagement
* Builds strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
* Wants to be part of something bigger than a classroom, a role that supports children, families and culture together
Other Requirements
* A First Aid qualification approved by ACECQA that includes applying First Aid, Emergency Asthma Management and Anaphylaxis Management
* Child Protection qualification approved by relevant NSW Department of Education
* Teacher accreditation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
