Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Description:
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects in the construction industry. As a seasoned project manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage comprehensive project programs and communicate them to the project team.
* Oversee project delivery from inception through to completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
* Ensure that construction programs are followed and deliver on project quality to program.
* Identify and manage construction risks throughout all projects, escalating issues as necessary.
* Manage project expenditure and cash flow to maintain profitability.
* Lead and manage external engineering design aspects of projects.
* Design management.
* Manage subcontractors on site.
* Maintain HSEQ requirements on the project.
* Produce progress reports.
* Deliver and manage client expectations.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or similar field.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in successful project delivery with a builder/head contractor.
* Proven leadership ability in building and motivating teams.
* Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements/standards.
* Strong project financial reporting skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills.
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
