We are seeking a dynamic professional to lead our Mentoring and Specialist Services team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the broader team to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to apprenticeship progress, mentoring and personal support services across Western Australia.
Mentoring Team Lead
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Osborne Park.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver specialist services in alignment with contracts, business plans and KPIs.
* Foster team development and provide mentoring to enhance skills, performance and cohesion.
* Achieve and exceed KPIs and targets.
* Maintain accurate databases, tracking activities, progress notes and service plans.
* Implement processes to optimise client services and drive increased apprenticeship uptake.
* Build strong relationships with apprentices and employers, providing regular communication and support.
* Represent the organisation at events to promote apprenticeship support services.
* Deliver outstanding customer service, supporting clients and stakeholders effectively.
About You
Requirements:
* Experience in leading mentoring or specialist services, focusing on First Nations, Women in Trade, Clean Energy or other groups.
* Previous experience in managing and leading a team to achieve goals.
* Strong understanding of apprenticeship programs and employer engagement.
* Proficient in reporting and writing.
* Effective customer service skills to interact with various clients and stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Skilled in maintaining and updating databases.
* Knowledge of State and Federal VET systems.
* Valid driver's license.
* Current working with children clearance.
* Police clearance.
