Philanthropic Partnerships Manager Role
Museums Victoria is a leading cultural institution in Australia, home to the Royal Exhibition Building. We care for the state's scientific and cultural collections, create extraordinary experiences, and inspire curiosity and wonder in millions of visitors each year.
As a dynamic and strategic philanthropic partnerships manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing relationships with major donors, philanthropic partners, and prospective supporters. You will develop tailored engagement and stewardship strategies, craft compelling funding proposals, and collaborate across teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
The successful candidate will have proven success in philanthropic fundraising, including major gifts and experience or interest in bequest fundraising. They will possess excellent communication and influencing skills, a proactive and collaborative mindset, and strong project management and organisational skills.
* Cultivate and manage a portfolio of major donors and philanthropic partners, driving engagement and securing significant philanthropic support.
* Support the implementation of Museums Victoria's bequest strategy, including identifying, cultivating, and stewarding prospective and confirmed legacy donors.
* Develop personalised cultivation and stewardship plans to foster long-term, trust-based relationships.
* Coordinate the development of impactful funding proposals and partnership pitches.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to align donor interests with Museum priorities and ensure outstanding project delivery.
