This volunteer position is part of the Getting Ready for School Group, supporting children with cerebral palsy as they prepare for kindergarten.
Role Overview
The program is designed to increase classroom participation across fine motor, social, attendance, and literacy skills. The role is supervised by an Occupational Therapist and a Speech Pathologist.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Support therapists in running activities
* Encourage clients to participate in activities
* Set up and pack down activities
Role Requirements
* Minimum age 16 years or older
* NDIS Worker Screening
* Working with Children Check (NSW)
* COVID‐19 vaccination encouraged for volunteer safety
