About the role
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain Barudan multi-head and/or single-head embroidery machines
* Run the embroidery room end to end, including job setup, production scheduling, and workflow management
* Load designs, hoop garments, select threads, and adjust machine settings for optimal results
* Monitor embroidery quality throughout production and make real-time adjustments as needed
* Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
* Manage thread inventory, needles, backing, and embroidery supplies
* Read and interpret work orders, artwork, and production specifications
* Ensure all embroidered products meet quality and brand standards
* Minimize waste and downtime while maximizing production efficiency
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe embroidery workspace
* Communicate proactively with management regarding timelines, issues, or improvements
Required Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of professional embroidery experience
* Proven experience operating Barudan embroidery machines
* Strong understanding of embroidery techniques, materials, and garment types
* Ability to work independently and manage production from start to finish
* Excellent attention to detail and quality control
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to stand for extended periods and handle production volumes
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience managing or leading an embroidery room or production line
* Familiarity with digitising software and basic file adjustments
* Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
