We have the perfect opportunity for you! As an Animal Attendant, you'll be an essential member of our Ranger team, dedicated to the care and well-being of animals in our community. In this role, you'll be responsible for cleaning our council’s animal holding facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the dogs and cats in our care. You'll provide daily exercise and feeding, and transport animals to our council’s veterinarians. You may also have the rewarding task of microchipping companion animals, helping them find their way home if they ever get lost. Your responsibilities will also include managing general enquiries from staff and the public and educating the community on responsible pet ownership. Two roles will be working a rotating fortnightly roster, 3-days one week and 2-days the next. There is also an opportunity to work overtime weekend shifts, 8.00am to 2.00pm with appropriate penalty rates.
