Opportunity Summary
We are seeking a Patient Transport Officer to join our team in Bairnsdale for casual positions. This role involves transporting patients on-road, providing high-quality care and treatment, and developing positive relationships with patients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road
* Provide quality patient care and treatment during transport
* Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and colleagues
* Work independently and problem-solve within established policies and procedures
* Collaborate with other team members
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum qualification of Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient Care or Diploma of Nursing
* Ability to drive in city and country traffic conditions
* Availability to work 10-12 hour shifts across 7 days
* Compassion, professionalism, and dedication to delivering exceptional service
* Experience in the NEPT sector (desirable but not essential)
* Satisfactory completion of safety screening checks
