- 1 year: isolation bonus of AUD$3,500

In your downtime, we will provide 2 return airfares p.a. (including spouse/dependents) to the nearest east coast provincial city in conjunction with your recreation leave; we offer 5 weeks p.a. with a 17.5% loading/bonus.
- Base salary ranges between $82,753 and $106,144 p.a. (Nurse Grade 5).

Normanton Hospital and Community Health offers service to the patient catchment from the townships of Normanton and Karumba. In addition to this, patients attend from other surrounding towns, stations and vessels in lower gulf waters. A range of services are offered including, but not limited to Accident and Emergency treatment, general inpatient services, outpatient clinics, visiting specialist clinics while working collaboratively with community health and other service providers in this area. The township of Normanton offers the ‘outback’ experience, a laid back lifestyle while providing access to everyday needs and easy access to recreational activities ranging from sports, outdoor activities and social groups.
About The Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) works in Normanton Hospital and Community Health, providing skilled, safe and quality patient and family centred care. The Registered Nurse is committed to enhancing and enabling positive patient experience and outcomes by fostering support, collaboration, and partnership with patients, families/carers and other health service providers at Normanton Hospital and Community Health.
Requirements
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
- Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
- Appointees will also be required to participate in an on-call roster.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
