We now have an opportunity for a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join our Welshpool team, servicing both customer-owned and company-owned material handling equipment. What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day Performing servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on forklifts and material handling equipment Completing pre-delivery preparation and inspections for new and used machines Carrying out major overhauls and condition assessments Identifying opportunities for additional service or repair work and communicating with your supervisor Maintaining accurate job cards, checklists, and timesheets Ensuring the workshop is clean, safe, and well-organised at all times What’s In It For You Competitive hourly rate overtime and annual EBA increase Job security and long-term career opportunities within a growing national company Access to modern tools, equipment, and technology in a clean, safe workshop Supportive leadership and a knowledgeable, hands-on team environment Retail, fuel & grocery discounts employee milestone celebrations Wellbeing support and employee celebrations What We’re Looking For Mechanical Trade Certificate (Mechanical, Electrical, or Diesel – all considered) Minimum 2 years’ mechanical experience in materials handling, heavy vehicle, or automotive industries Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Knowledge of hydraulic systems and low-voltage electrical systems Current driver’s licence and forklift licence Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks Full working rights in Australia and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening Applications If you’re ready to take the next step in your mechanical career and join a supportive national team, we’d love to hear from you.
