About The Role: You will undertake and report on field inspection outcomes to scope and monitor the delivery of work and verify contractor compliance with maintenance contract requirements. This will include: Ensuring compliance with Australian Building Codes, housing standards, policies and contract requirements when assigning work to contractors. Conduct accurate inspections according to the program's standards, maintaining records of inspections and required actions. Build and maintain working relationships with contractors to facilitate effective inspection and maintenance programs. Identify and resolve compliance issues in collaboration with contractors, issuing necessary notices when required. About the ideal candidate: You will have worked in a similar role, and ideally have the following: Experience in residential capital maintenance and upgrade works. Advanced MS Word and Excel, MS Project skills Sound building experience or exposure including to the Australian Building Codes, together with experience in field inspections, preparing quotations or estimates and measurement of performance against standards. Valid drivers license Have a current Working With Children Check or willing to obtain one. Please note: This is a construction role What’s in it for you?
