We are seeking a senior civil engineer to join our water team in Logan, Australia. This role will contribute to project development and design projects within the capital works program.
About the Team

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver feasibility and detailed design projects on time and to quality standards
* Participate in risk management and safety processes
* Undertake options analysis and develop recommended solutions
* Coordinate and deliver all aspects of design including investigations, drawings, and construction support
* Conduct technical and quality reviews of deliverables
* Develop and manage project estimates and resource forecasts
* Promote a collaborative and value-for-money culture
* Mentor and coach team members to support capability development
Requirements
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil preferred)
* CPEng and RPEQ preferred
* Project management training preferred
* 5 to 15 years' engineering experience with water/wastewater infrastructure
* Knowledge of gravity and pressure water systems
* Experience with pumping stations, including interpreting pumping curves
* Ability to manage the design process through feasibility, concept, and detailed design
* Experience managing multidisciplinary teams of engineers and drafters
* Strong communication and report writing skills
* Proven design and project management capabilities
* Effective planning and prioritisation skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders
