Reservation Agent Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Reservation Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and have the ability to learn quickly, making them a valuable asset in ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* SUPPORT FIT BOOKINGS: Assist with processing individual bookings, providing excellent customer service, and responding to guest inquiries via phone and email.
* HANDLE GROUP RESERVATIONS: Coordinate all aspects of group bookings from initial inquiries to final confirmations, working closely with various departments to ensure requirements are met.
* INBOUND RESERVATIONS: Assist with rooming lists and create new group bookings, replying to travel agents' enquiries regarding inbound groups.
* PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXCELLENCE: Deliver high-level service to both group and individual guests, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the booking process.
* COLLABORATE WITH OTHER DEPARTMENTS: Work closely with Front Desk & C&E teams to ensure seamless handling of group and FIT reservations, maintaining clear communication for accurate reservation details and guest requests.
* RESOLVE ISSUES EFFICIENTLY: Act as a point of contact for group reservation-related issues, resolving problems professionally.
* BUILD EXPERTISE ACROSS ALL RESERVATION CATEGORIES: Expand knowledge across groups, FIT, and inbound reservations to provide overall team support during high-demand periods.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a reservations role, preferably in the hotel industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer-focused attitude.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency with reservation systems and software, ideally with Opera experience.
* A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to take on diverse tasks.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
