About the Position
This Enrolled Nurse / Registered Nurse position involves delivering clinical patient care activities aligned with educational preparation and level of competence. The position requires a 7-day, 24-hour rotating roster, including day, afternoon, and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver individualised nursing care.
2. Liaise effectively with medical, nursing, and allied health team members to ensure seamless communication.
3. Promote evidence-based practice that incorporates problem-solving approaches.
4. Engage patients, carers, and families in all stages of care.
5. When appropriate, supervise and direct junior Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and undergraduate nursing students, providing constructive feedback.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary nursing theory and practice related to sub-acute patient care.
* Thorough understanding of quality systems and health services accreditation principles.
